Originally, this blog has been created as an assignment for my post-graduate class, Technology in Education.
I teach fourth grade with the Seaford School District. Since diving into the 21st century world of the technology, I have learned that I more than an educator, but a lifelong learner! I have embraced some of my fears and challenged myself to change those things that can be changed.
Not only will I use this new wealth of knowledge, to better educate my students, but I will use it to stay connected to the "every changing" "wiki" of a world and educate myself. I am glad to be ME. I am just who God intended me to be- I am a part of this peer sharing global world, welcome to the part that I elect to share with you.
One of my favorite quotes: "Never look down on anyone, unless you are offering them a hand to help them up." Reverend Jessie Jackson
I invite you to share in my heartfelt reflections as a life long learner in the 21st Century world of technology.

Who Am I?
- L
- I won't define myself as to what I am to others but rather: what I am to myself. I most enjoy my role as a mommy to a 16 year old daughter. BUT I am much more than a mother. I am a human being still searching for so many other things, that life has to offer. I don't want to define my destiny, for God has already done that for me. I will strive hard to never give up on my dreams and or goals. Someday, I would love to travel the world and write novels. My hobbies are boxers, gardening, traveling, reading, consulting, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and enjoying the company of true friends on a beach.
